Baby Shoemaker!

Sorry this is not the best picture, there were some better ones, but we couldn't take the pictures fast enough.

I announced this a long time ago, but I have not had a chance to post it here. (Some of you probably noticed the poll on the right, don't forget to make your guess.) We don't know if it is a boy or girl yet, but we got to see it yesterday and that was really fun. Everything looks good and we should have a healthy baby in June! Angie is very excited and convinced it is a boy. She was asked what she would do if it was a girl and she said that it would be okay, but she would be mad at it for a very long time. So for the babies sake I hope it's a boy. Angie says it has to be a boy so she can dance with it and there is no way she can dance with a girl (you try, I give up).

Davy Jones!!!

For those who don't know, I am a HUGE Monkees fan and last month Davy Jones came here on tour! It was awesome!!! I was bound and determined to be on the front row and thanks to Suzy we made it! (I had her run for it as soon as we got in the door) We were front row, center and he was just a few feet from us. He looked really good and it was so fun to watch him dance (some things never change!). We got to sing along and his band was really, really good I was very impressed.

Here is a link to some of the footage I got with my camera. Enjoy and be jealous.
Davy Jones - "Day Dream Believer"

I have had two opportunities to see the Monkees in concert and missed them both. The first time I was in Lubbock waiting for Scott to be born (Karen and Alicia got to go to that concert. I got a shirt :-<) (okay, thanks for the shirt. I loved it) The second was my senior year of high school and I got tickets right down front for their final tour concert. Then I found out we had a band invitational to go to that same night and try as I might, my band director would not let me go. (I was pit section leader, but that's no excuse. This was important!!!) To make matters worse, when we lined up to go on the field it started raining so we packed up and went home. I couldn't believe it. Then the next day I had to hear about how great the concert was and how I totally missed out. That was definitely not the high point of my year. So I know Davy is not much, but after all I have been through I will take it.

Wonderful Life 2

Sorry it has been forever since I have updated this. Here is what you have been missing –

Here is Angie with the flowers she got from Aunt Karen and Grandma/Granddad for her performance in “It’s A Wonderful Life”. They made a beautiful bouquet.

If you did not get to see her perform you can check out the following link and see her part of the play.

She did a wonderful job and was very professional.
